OM NAMAH SHIVAY GRAND OCCASIONS

Although each day is celebrated here with great grand frolic and zeal, the year begins with the massive Shiv Bhandara (holy feast) organized in MaghMela at Sangam, Allahabad in the month of January and February.

The second and most important of them all is Mahashivratri. Thousands of devotees gather to celebrate the holy festival. Infact this is the only festival that Param Pujya Gurudev Bhagwan celebrates with great interest and cheerfulness. Various mythological plays and hymns are conducted; great grand holy feast is organized. The entire celebration runs for two-three days.

The third one plays a very important role in everyone’s life as this day is known as Guru Purnima that falls in the month of July every year. Just like in schools we celebrate Teacher’s day same is when we celebrate Guru Purnima that is a day devoted to our  Guru ji, conveying him a word of thank you, displaying our love and affection towards him and making him feel that without his holy guidance we would have been lost in this materialistic and selfish world.

The fourth in the row is grand celebration organized by the devotees on 10th of every August on the occasion of Guru ji’s birthday which is also known as the incarnation day. The devotees believe him to be an incarnation of God as he is one who has saved and changed their lives towards the better phase. Thus this grand occasion is celebrated with great grandeur.

Besides, Janamashtami, Navratri, Guru ji’s Anniversary is also celebrated with great enthusiasm.

From the past many years Lal Mahendra Shiv Shakti Sewa Ashram has been organizing grand feast during the Magh Mela held at Allahabad in the month of December and January. The main aim is to distribute the holy feast (bhandara) among the devotees who come across the world, to take the holy bath in the Ganga. The holy feast (bhandara) runs 24 hours a day.

Last year this organization has served two crore devotees so it is our sincere request that instead of going to other places at Magh Mela,come to us and take the holy feast that is been prepared by Guru ji.
